Cycle route Varsseveld.

During the years of occupation the resistance increases. The “underground movement” commits attacks on Nazi’s and collaborators. They rob distribution offices, help people to hide and spread uncensored news. Looking back it sounds easy, but their actions often have been very exciting. A lot of courage was needed and you had to be prepared to give your life. Or maybe worse, that of many innocent others.

The route is signposted and has a 53 km length. Starting and ending point is in Megchelen at the Oranjeplein
